When I first saw an arm knit blanket in a home decor magazine, I was inspired, surprised, and just a tad bit confused. I kept thinking “how did they make stitches that large? And how long does a knitting needle need to be to hold all of those massive stitches?” (I had so much to learn!)
Arm knitting involves using your hands and your arms instead of needles to knit. You can hold stitches along the length of your arm, or, depending on the yarn you choose, you can work on stitch at a time using just your hands.
In this post I’ve compiled a list of resources to help and inspire you on your arm knitting journey. Scroll through to enjoy them all or pick and click your favorite topics from the Table of Contents below.
