Scroll through the post at your leisure and sneak a peek at them all or pick and choose your favorite Skirt Styles from the Table of Contents below.

A Line Skirt Sewing Patterns
An A Line skirt gets its name from the form it takes on the body, hugging in at the waist, and then gradually getting wider as it gets longer, creating a fuller hem. This week I’ve gathered together some gorgeous A Line Skirt Sewing Patterns from some of my favorite independent designers. Enjoy!

Mini Skirt Sewing Patterns
Jalie 2920 Leggings and Mini-Skirt Pattern
The Jalie 2920 Leggings and Mini-Skirt Pattern is one of my favorite patterns and the leggings and mini skirt I made from it have held up for years! The pattern includes two types of leggings (one with stirrups, one without) and a mini skirt which features an exposed waistband and would work beautifully with or without the leggings.
Jalie recommends making this pattern with activewear knit with 60% crosswise and lengthwise stretch. Order one of these great options alongside your pattern:

Merchant & Mills Clementine Jean Skirt Pattern
It doesn’t get any more classic than a denim pencil skirt and the Merchant & Mills Clementine Jean Skirt Pattern is my favorite. This gorgeous pattern features a back split and shaped waistband.
The Clementine Jean Skirt Pattern is designed to be sewn on a domestic machine although Merchant & Mills do recommend creating a toile first and using a 8 – 12.5oz denim (or up to 14oz with heavier duty machine).
