With over one million subscribers, it’s no secret that Bernadette Peters is an exceptional sewing podcaster. According to Bernadette, her channel “began as a personal documentation of her reconstruction experiments”.
Bernadette sews all of her clothes by hand and by using traditional machinery. Her patterns typically predate WWII and her sewing podcast is jam packed with history, beauty and wit.

2. Rachel Maksy
Next on our list of sewing podcasts is the incomparable Rachel Masky. Rachel is a self-professed filmmaker, storyteller, illustrator, and cosplayer. Her channel is filled with everything from DIY Victorian wall murals to hair styles, and her sewing content is sublime.
Rachel sews everything from Secret Garden inspired dresses to a Wishbone costume for her dog. Her aesthetic is gorgeous an we are often inspired by just the room Rachel is podcasting from that day!

3. withwendy
Wendy of withwendy is all about empowering us to sew! From tye dye to tapestry, Wendy covers it all (and documents it all too!). When Wendy says we can do it, we’re inclined to believe her!
Some of Wendy’s most popular videos include: trying everything I made in 2020 (roast and toast), I sewed THAT tulle dress (H&M x Giambattista Valli), and numerous sewing hack videos that include How to Downsize Jeans (Resize Waist & Legs!).

Morgan Donner is a self taught maker and sewer and is passionate about historical sewing and research. Her videos range from the incredible: Making Medieval Shoes by Hand to the very entertaining: An Historically Accurate Little Mermaid Dress.

Cathy Hay is an inspiring sewist, and a very unique podcaster as well. According to her channel, Cathy loves to “reverse engineer and recreate the clothing of the late Victorian and Edwardian eras.”

Tune into the sewing podcast Loepsie and meet Lucy, a sewist passionate about historical hair styles, beauty and dressing rituals and sewing (of course!).

Caleb and Justin make this podcast a joy to watch. The banter between them is oftentimes hilarious and the projects they feature are beautiful.

Next up on our list of sewing podcasts is another quilting podcast! A Quilting Life is hosted by Sherri McConnell who shares a variety of videos that include quilting tips and tricks as well as step by step tutorials to help you create that perfect project.
